The Downtown Detroit Partnership maintains a majority of the Downtown landscape including Grand Circus Park, medians, and sidewalk planters. Torre & Bruglio, Inc. / Brickman Group is contracted, with Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit as a subcontractor, to provide landscape services including site policing; weeding; mowing; edging; fertilizing; mulching; vegetation control; pruning and trimming of shrubs; selective pruning of trees; installing and maintaining of annuals and perennials; irrigation; staking and roping for events; and additional support as necessary. The Downtown Landscaping program cares for and preserves parks and greenspace covering the equivalent of 15 football fields. Landscape services provide a beautiful entryway to Downtown and scenic views within the city for the visitors, workers, and residents of the Downtown community.
