The 2-1-1 on the Go program is a mobile outreach initiative that engages individuals experiencing homelessness in Downtown. The program is an effort of the DDP. Homeless outreach associates connect with those wanting help and provide quality information and referrals to meet immediate needs with the ultimate goal of helping them get off the streets and into a job. The team provides advocacy and transportation support to help individuals secure stable housing and income. 2-1-1 on the Go develops relationships with those in need and direct service providers to help alleviate homelessness. In addition to serving the homeless population, 2-1-1 On the Go! works to provide a safe, walkable environment for all.
