Detroit Aglow

The Detroit Aglow dinner and fundraiser has been a Downtown tradition for more than a quarter century. This year’s event will take place at the historic Westin Book Cadillac Detroit on Monday, November 19, 2012.

Special note: Thanks to your incredible support Detroit Aglow is sold out for this year.

Here’s hoping your holidays glow brighter than ever this year.

Detroit Aglow is a Thanksgiving celebration that brings together an outstanding gathering of approximately 600 of the region’s key leaders. Guests represent the area’s top economic development, real estate, construction, property management and architectural firms, as well as banking, legal, insurance, gaming and automotive companies. Top government, philanthropic and nonprofit leaders also attend this popular, sell-out event.

The evening begins with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception in the Venetian Ballroom followed by a festive 7 p.m. holiday dinner in the Woodward Ballroom. Individual tickets are $175 and tables of 10 are $1,750.

A traditional turkey dinner, featuring 60 roasted turkeys, is prepared by the Westin.

Volunteer guest chefs at each table are decked out in tall white chef toques and traditional white coats to handle the carving duties for their table and to serve up all the trimmings.

It’s an evening of good cheer for a good cause with proceeds helping to support a revitalized Downtown.
